This roughcast bungalow was constructed by Charlie Roebuck in 1916.

In July 1916, a permit for the construction of a residence for C. E. Roebuck on Town Section 2086, Watson Street, was granted by the Borough Council - Roebuck was listed as the builder, and the estimated construction cost was £600.

Roebuck was a drainlayer, plasterer and bricklayer - his skill and attention to detail can be seen throughout this home; especially in the arched brick door and window frames in the entrance porch, and in the ornate interior plastered ceilings.

The home has been restored to a high standard, with many original features retained.

Charlie subsequently sold this home, and constucted a new home at 426 Devon Street East.
