134 Carrington Street 2017 (2)

2017 View: By Hamish Crimp

Richard Cock Jnr had a number of buildings constructed around New Plymouth in the the late Nineteenth and early Twentieth Centuries, living in the neighbouring villa 'Overdale', and owning the section on which the shop is built .

The building is single story, and constructed from reinforced concrete - similar to 127-131 Devon Street East (1925), also designed by Messenger.
