A little-known heritage feature in historic Brooklands

 Brooklands Well 2017

 2017 View: By Hamish Crimp

This feature is thought to be a brick-lined well. It is unclear which period of occupation this well belongs to, however it is within close proximity to the original (1843-1861) homestead of Captain Henry King, and may well date to this period. However it could equally belong to a later period.

The well appears to be brick lined, with the top covered in mortar.
