The Friends of Te Henui (FROTH) was formed in September 2008 with the aim to provide a community 'voice' for the Te Henui Valley, New Plymouth. 


  • Enhance the natural beauty of the area by assisting Parks staff with maintenance.

  • Assist in identifying and highlighting plant collections.

  • Work with Forest and Bird Society and DOC to conserve the natural values.

  • Identify and highlight historical features.
